Double checkmate
In the absence of the black Cannon, Red could win with a simple discovered check R4-1.
The red Chariot can be replaced by a Pawn in this example.
It is interesting that both the Chariot and the Horse are en prise when checkmate is executed. A red Horse at B54 instead, will do the same job (H5+4, or H5+6).
